Oct. 3 was “Latina Equal Pay Day” so I attended an event at the Orlando Science Center hosted by the Association of Latino Professionals for America (http://alpfa.org). My good friend and fellow Central Florida Latina in Tech Marisa Diaz was one of the organizers and spearheaded a workshop about negotiating your worth when interviewing for jobs — especially in a tight market where the plum jobs are scarce.
